The city is also known for its sprawling favelas (shanty towns). Its raucous Carnaval festival, featuring parade floats, flamboyant costumes and samba dancers, is considered the world’s largest.

Arrive at Ezeiza International Airport. After meet and greet at Airport, we will transfer you to your hotel. In the afternoon, we make a panoramic tour around the city. We start in Plaza de Mayo (historic square), witness to the most important events of the country since 1810, from where we can appreciate the surrounding buildings, such as the Casa Rosada (Pink House), the cathedral and the Cabildo (ancient Town Hall). Our second stop is La Boca, but on the way we pass through icons of the city such as the Obelisk and the Colon Theatre, one of the five best opera theaters in the world. Upon arriving at La Boca, we visit its colorful streets; we pass by the conventillos and its well known Caminito alley, where we can appreciate some handicrafts produced by local artisans. We leave the southern part of the city to head north towards the neighbourhoods of Palermo and Recoleta, where we make a final stop to appreciate the contrast of what we have just seen with this clearly well-off district, famous for hosting the Recoleta cemetery where relevant personalities are buried. After Breakfast, we will depart towards the north of the city, passing by well-off residential neighborhoods and the front the “Quinta Presidencial de Olivosâ€, official residence of the President of Argentina, located in the outskirts of the city. We head towards ElTigre, a charming neighborhood located at the mouth of the Paraná River Delta. A boat ride through the Delta allows to appreciate the old mansions contrasting with modern houses and modest wooden houses, built on stilts. Return to the hotel. In the evening, we attend a dinner show to enjoy the magnetism of tango. Overnight at Buenos Aires.
After Breakfast, transfer to the airport for your flight to Puerto Iguazú. On arrival, our local representative will meet and transfer you to the hotel. Evening at leisure for own activities. Overnight at Puerto Iguazú.
After Breakfast, we head for Iguazú National Park, in order to visit Iguazú Falls, declared Natural Heritage Site by UNESCO and one of the Seven Wonders of the Natural World. During the tour we go through the three circuits of the park: Garganta del Diablo (Devil’s Throat), the Upper Trail and the Lower Trail. We have time to have lunch (not included) and take optionally The Great Adventure. In the afternoon, return to the hotel. Evening at leisure. Overnight at Puerto Iguazú.
After Breakfast, we checkout and depart for Foz do Iguacu, with the aim of visiting Iguaçu National Park. Once inside the reserve, as we walk along the only catwalk within the Brazilian park we appreciate a panoramic view of the full arc of the falls, until reaching the lookout of Garganta del Diablo. Later, we will transfer you to the airport for your flight to Rio de Janeiro. On arrival, our local representative will meet, greet and transfer you to the Hotel. Overnight at Rio de Janeiro.
After Breakfast, we will take you on city tour of Rio De Janeiro to discover why it is known as the “Marvelous Cityâ€. You will visit one of the most famous sites in the city: The Statue of Christ the Redeemer, recently chosen as one of the Seven Wonders of the Modern World. From its summit, we enjoy a panoramic view of Rio de Janeiro. After lunch, we visit the famous Pão do Açúcar (Sugar Loaf) located at 395 MASL (1.296 ft.) that has become an icon of the city. From its summit, we are able to glimpse some of the historical sites of the city, such as the cathedral and the municipal theater. Overnight at Rio de Janeiro. Operational note: The ascent to Cristo Redentor is by Corcovado’s Train.
After Breakfast, you will have a day at leisure to explore a city with a lot of life, culture and beaches. Do not miss the opportunity to visit Santa Teresa by its “bondinhoâ€, the last electric train. Overnight at Rio de Janeiro.
