Travel on the renowned Tranz Alpine train over the Southern Alps to Greymouth. Travel south along the rugged West Coast to arrive at the glacier region of Franz Josef and Fox Glaciers. Overnight in Glacier Region.

Travel through spectacular mountain ranges, native forests and lakes to Haast Pass, gateway to World Heritage Westland National Park. Continue to Queenstown. Overnight in Queenstown

Follow the southern arm of Lake Wakatipu to Lumsden, and onward to Lake Te Anau. Enter the Eglinton Valley and travel through the breath-taking manmade Homer Tunnel to reach Milford Sound.
