After Breakfast, meet our local English-Speaking guide at your hotel lobby and start our full day tour discovery of Hanoi. Our first stop will be Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum (closed on Mondays, Friday and every afternoon), a large memorial in Hanoi where the embalmed body of Ho Chi Minh is preserved. Within this complex, we also visit Ho Chi Minh residence, and One Pillar Pagoda, a historical Buddhist in Hanoi which is built of wood on a single stone pillar and to resemble a lotus blossom. Then, we move to visit the Temple of Literature - the first university of Vietnam which is dedicated to Confucius. Here you will be introduced to the art of wood carving and bronze casting in Vietnam in the 19th century. If you visit this temple before Vietnamese Traditional Tet holiday, you would see how the calligraphist writing wishes in Han characters outside the temple. In the afternoon, we continue with Ethnology Museum, where we can find a wide range of displayed items belonging to 54 ethnic minorities of Vietnam. Almost the most outstanding characteristics as well as cultural patterns of Vietnamese minorities are shown there. Later, you have free time to shop in the Old Quarter, the 36 Old Streets. After Breakfast, checkout and transfer to Ha Long Bay. It is one of the most magnificent scenic environments in the world. It is recognized as world heritage by UNESCO in 1994. Covering 577 square miles, this vast bay is filled with more than 3,000 limestone “peaks†or karsts that jut out over the deep blue water as far as the eye can see. Evening, Cooking demonstration with traditional Vietnamese food on the sundeck (or in the restaurant if weather does not allow) and a special dinner will be served in the restaurant. Early start for a Tai Chi demonstration on the sundeck. Enjoy the morning view of the Bay’s landscape with a cup of tea or coffee and enjoy light breakfast. Explore the well-hidden Thien Canh Son cave. Brunch will be served in the restaurant while the boat heads back to harbour. After Breakfast, you will be free at leisure for shopping. Post lunch, transfer to Hoi An and take a walking tour through the narrow streets to have a look of Hoi An Old City, it was one of the major port in South-East Asia between the 15th and 19th century. The architecture of the town perfectly reflects the influence, both indigenous and foreign, who contributed to the success of this UNESCO Heritage Site. We first stop at Ong Pagoda, a 17th century pagoda. This pagoda is not just worship and meditation but also a culture example preserving the heritage of the land. The next visit is to Chinese Assembly Halls of Fujian or Cantonese Chinese Congregation. Then we move to see the 200- year old Tan Ky house which have signs of both Japanese and Chinese influences on the architecture. The last stop is the Japanese Covered Bridge, an emblematic of Hoi An built in 1590s by the Japanese community. You can learn how to make a Hoi An lantern and keep as you souvenir. Return to your hotel and Overnight at Da Nang.
After breakfast, checkout and get transferred Ba Na Hills, one of the most attractive tourist destinations in Da Nang. The place has a year round cool climate which is a welcome relief from hot and humid coasts. The top of Ba Na Hills provides a panoramic view of the sea and other adjoining hills and vegetation. You can start your adventure at Ba Na Hills with a ride on the cable car. It ferries passenger up and down the hills. Suspended mid air in the clouds watching mountains and waterfall is breathtaking. Ba Na Hill Fantasy Park is an amazing entertainment zone for kids and adults. Wax museum with statues of celebrities and politicians, Mo stream at the base of the mountain and Le Jordin D’ amour are other interesting places to visit in Ba Na Hills. One of the best loved destinations in Ba Na Hills is the French Village, which reenacts an old fashioned and tranquil France lined with recognizable classical landmarks such as the square, church, town, old village and inns. After Breakfast, meet our tour guide at your hotel and start our full day sightseeing of Saigon. During the tour, you will visit the major and most beautiful sights of Ho Chi Minh City such as Lam Son Square, Saigon Opera House and the People’s Committee Hall, then walk north on tree-lined Dong Khoi Street, Notre Dame Cathedral and Old Post Office, which were both built in French architecture style during the colonial times. Next stop would be Reunification Palace (the former Presidential Palace), renowned for its symbolic role in the fall of Saigon in 1975. After lunch break, visit Cu Chi tunnel, You will have some short introduction followed by introductory video about how the tunnels were constructed and how the people survived in the harsh conditions of the war time. Then, spend your time to explore the remaining area and tunnel systems which included the special constructed living areas with kitchens, bedrooms side by side with other martial facilities like storage, weapons factories, field hospitals, and command centers helping whoever lives inside the tunnels meet their basic needs. Besides, there are also many hidden trap doors and dangerous traps within the maze-like tunnels for security purpose during the war.
